6-9 p.m. The Newport Art
Museum hosts Holiday Tabletops and an evening of wine tasting.
Presented in association with Bellevue Wine and Spirits and the Newport
Showhouse Guild, the evening features wines from around the world and
showcases designer-created "Holiday Tabletops" on view throughout the
Museum.

Victorian Christmas Feast - Dec 6, 2008
7pm. Step back in
time with the Beechwood Theatre Company as they re-create St. Nicholas
Day 1891. The three-hour event features a magnificent holiday dinner,
breathtaking music, and the festive antics od the servants.

Bowen's Wharf Christmas Tree Lighting & Open House - Dec 6, 2008
Evening
festivities begin with Frosty the Snowman at 4:30pm. Local musicians
take stage at 5pm to lead the carol sing-a-longs. A City official
lights the tree at 6pm and Santa & Mrs. Claus will "sail" into the
basin as long as the weather is good. Otherwise, they'll find a
land-based way of getting to Bowen's.
