Ivy Lodge Policies

DEPOSITS - RESERVATION PROCESS:

How we process your reservation request: If you are staying for one night, we take the one night room rate plus taxes, R.I. State tax 7% and Lodging tax 6%, if you are staying two nights, we take the first night deposit plus tax, the remaining amount of your balance is due at the time of check-in. If you are staying three or more nights, we take half the amount of your stay as deposit plus taxes, the remaining amount is due at the time of check-in.

CANCELLATIONS:

Should it be necessary to cancel a confirmed reservation 14 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded less a 10% service fee. If you cancel within the 14 days of your arrival time, your deposit will be forfeited. For confirmed guests not arriving on the scheduled date and without prior notification, your deposit will be forfeited and if additional room nights were reserved, the room will be open for availability the following day. Guest leaving early will not be entitled to a refund for any part of their reservation.


BREAKFAST:

 All reservations include a full gourmet breakfast each morning for each registered guest.

Breakfast with small children:  We ask guest with small children, (under 5), come for breakfast at 8:00 AM or at 10:00 AM in an effort to accommodate everyone and to be considerate of all other guests.  As any parent knows, young children can be challenging when eating in a large group setting.  If you have any questions please call ahead of time. 


LATE ARRIVING GUESTS AND INN HOURS:

The inn is staffed from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Guests who anticipate arriving after 6:00 p.m.,  should inform the reservation staff member at the time the reservation is made; We have a way to ensure that late arriving guests are able to gain access to the inn and find their guest bedroom.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:

If you have significant dietary restrictions (e.g., allergies, vegetarian/vegan preferences, etc.), please let us know as soon as possible so that we can accommodate your needs.

NON-SMOKING INN:

The Ivy Lodge is a smoke-free inn, If it is deemed that a guests has smoked in their rooms or in any other interior space on the property, there will be assessed a odor removal fee (minimum fee of $250).

CHILDREN:

Our philosophy that we want our guests to feel as though our house is an extension of your house. We happily accommodate children. To date our minor guests have been a delight and we appreciate well-behaved children!  Children over the age of 5 and up to 15 will be charged have of the normal additional person rate of $35 per night.

PETS:

We do not accept pets.

Gift Cards and Gift Certificates:

We accept gift cards and or certificates from several organizations but we do limit the amount to $100 per night with a maximum per stay of $500 unless issued from the Ivy Lodge.  All Gift Cards and Gift Certificates can be used for lodging only and cannot be used to pay for packages, passes, tours, dinning and excursions.  Please advise us at time of making a reservation that you wish to use a gift card or gift certificate to pay for your reservation, and confirm with us that we accept the type of gift card or certificates you wish to use.  Charity donations and complementarity gift certificates can not be used to satisfy minimum stays.
